Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

Do you as a parent or carer at home with your children during the school shut down, feel that you need someone to talk to about how you can cope with this challenging time for families?

Birmingham Educational Psychology Service is providing a telephone helpline for any parent or car-ers of children, who feel they would benefit from a consultation with a psychologist to support them with any concerns arising at this time, for them or their families. Coronavirus (COVID-19)

COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus.

If you need more information on the virus, in the first instance please click here to view the NHS guidance.

If you think you may have the virus or have been in close contact with someone that has the virus.

  • Stay at home and avoid close contact with other people
  • DO NOT go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital
  • The 111 coronavirus service will tell you if you need to continue to stay at home (self-isolate) or if you need medical help.

In the instance of closure, the school office will not be manned. Please ensure School is alerted to any confirmed cases via email enquiry@bvcs.bham.sch.uk
